news now developing, the search on in the south bay for person would shot a woman at a san jose restaurant. she is if stable condition. the shooter is on the run. our reporter is in the south bay with more on the story. matt? >> i am standing in the center square shopping center between a hair and nails place and a subway sandwich shop where the woman was shot once. police say they received a call before 9:00 last night and the woman was taken to a local hospital and is listed as "stable." no days are released about what happened. police say this are no suspects if custody. the sign on the restaurant says "security cameras in use," and there is video of what took place and police will look at it to help in the investigation. we looked up the restaurant and customs describe it as a vietnamese restaurant and bar with karoke. the subway sandwich shot was

open at time of the shooting. no word on witnesses. breaking overnight police in north carolina have arrested a man on suspicion of killing three members of a muslim family near the university of north carolina campus. detectives are trying to determine whether the shooting was a hate crime. the victims were between 19 and 23 and include a unc dental student, his wife and her sister. a 46-year-old man turned himself in after the shooting and is held on three counts of murder. the chancellor is expected to update constitutes this morning. >> palo alto police land to release a sketch of a suspect with took pictures of a woman in a public bathroom following the woman into the bathroom at the community center in palo alto for the second time such a thing has happened of the monday night while a. on was in the stall the man used his cell phone to take pictures of the woman. she noticed and scrammed.
